Brake Incidentals Kit

Brake Incidentals Kit

Dark grey brake housing, one super long 6 foot (185 cm) piece, enough for a big bike with aero levers and slotted cable stops; set of 4 housing end caps; two dual ended (for road or mt brake levers) brake cables (1.4 M length); two cable end caps.

To cut the cable and housing, you still need cable cutters or dykes. If ya don't gottem now, gettem at a bike shop or hardware store. Make sure you pay at least pay $24, because if you don't, they're bound to be lousy.

Get a fine file, too, to file smooth the end of the housing after you cut it. Hold the file still, rub the housing briskly.

Important: If you've got a Gus, this kit won't work because there's no split stop for the housing. The same goes for other non-riv bikes with continuous housing (no cable stops).  Buy housing by the foot here.
