A couple of us here have been riding the Cambium C17 for several months years, and we have to report that it is indeed a durable and comfortable saddle. Maybe not quite like a well-broken-in leather B17, but definitely a good option for the non-animal-product-consumers and wet weather riders out there. Plus it looks great!
Brooks ALL WEATHER Cambium is a range of saddles made from vulcanized natural rubber and a thin black NYLON layer for complete waterproofness and legendary Brooks longevity. The uniquely flexible, maintenance-free, waterproof top is designed to follow the rider's movements for immediate comfort and ease of use. The thin nylon layer for all weather saddles is more durable than the organic cotton layer of the non-all weather models. All Weather saddles also have a plastic frame instead of a alumium frame. Same torx hardware as the other Cambiums, except that they're black.
A saddle you can really settle into, the geometry and dimensions are based closely on that of our most recognizable model, the B17, ensuring the same timeless comfort mile after mile.
Length 283 mm
Brooks Cambium saddles are bolted together with small Torx hardware. Like anything that uses screws, you should make sure that they're tight once in awhile with this tool. For extra measure, it's a good idea to also use a little Blue Loctite.
