Our current hat. All organically grown cotton. Olive bill and crown, black eyelets and button and under-bill, slightly shorter bill for less wind-catching and perhaps a 1960s filling-station-attendant look. The diamond is not insanely too low, but is "disconcertingly on the lowish side." Those who love you won't care, and strangers won't give it a second thought. The fit is perfect, the crown is the right height--midway between Trucker and Alligator hunter. Closes with velcro, so you can put it on your cables to let it dry on a descent. Fits to 7 7/8 or maybe even 8.
